  • Music Director, UC Davis Symphony Orchestra since 2009
  • Music Director, Camellia Symphony, Sacramento since 2012
  • Cover Conductor, San Francisco Symphony 2014-16
  • Debut at English National Opera (Aida) and Noord Nederlands Orkest in 2017-18
  • Conducted world première of Oscar Strasnoy’s opera Requiem at the Teatro Colón in 2014, directed by Matthew Jocelyn. Re-invited by Teatro Colón to conduct a production of 2001: A Space Odyssey in December 2015 and a Dallapiccola double-bill in 2016
  • Other past collaborations include the San Francisco Symphony, Florida Orchestra, BBC Symphony, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Orquesta Filarmonica de Buenos Aires, Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Argentina, Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto, Sao Paulo Symphony Orchestra
  • First CD of Mozart arias and overtures with Elizabeth Watts and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra released in June 2015, to great critical acclaim, and was Classic FM’s Album of the week (1st June), and BBC Music Magazine’s Recording of the month (September 2015)
  • Finalist in Nestlé & Salzburg Festival Conductors’ Award in 2012
  • An advocate for contemporary music: has conducted premières of more than 80 works, and worked on Ferneyhough’s La terre est un homme and Birtwistle’s Gawain with the BBC Symphony Orchestra
  •  A noted composer, Baldini’s music has been played by the Ensemble Modern, Southbank Sinfonia, PluralEnsemble Madrid and at the Donaueschingen Musiktage
